In 1976, a pair of schoolteachers bought a piece of land in Wilyabrup in the Margaret River region, planted some vines, and quietly got on with making wine.

No big launch. No fanfare. Just a deep love of the land, a belief in what Margaret River could produce, and the kind of patience you only develop when you're also trying to mark Year 9 essays.

Fifty years later, those vines are still here. The wines are still honest. And we're still in Wilyabrup - which, if you've ever been, you'll understand is exactly as it should be.

Fifty years is worth marking. So that's exactly what we're doing.
