Plush blackberry, plum and blackcurrant with dark chocolate, clove and a savoury edge of liquorice. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, with ripe tannin and a warm, generous finish. A warm, early season brought fruit power; cool nights kept it from tipping over.

Dark cherry, blackberry and black olive with cedar, five-spice and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, layered and composed, with firm, fine-grained tannin and a long, savoury finish. A long, even season on dry-grown vines gave detail and structure. Drinks well now and will reward time in the cellar.
